Sambil menyambut anime-anime baru di Winter Season yang baru dimulai, kali ini gw mw sharing review tentang salah satu anime Fall Season yang baru beres kemarin, Arpeggio of Blue Steel - Ars Nova, tapi sebelumnya, gw ga baca manganya, jadi review ini gw buat hanya berdasarkan versi animenya..hope u like it and could find it useful..:D

Arpeggio of Blue Steel - Ars Nova diadaptasi dari manga produksi Ark Performance, sebuah studio yang terdiri dari Kenji Mitsuyoshi dan Koichi Ishikawa. Sejak dirilis pada September 2009 sampai bulan Oktober 2013, manganya telah mencapai 8 volume dan masih on going. Anime nya sendiri diproduksi oleh SANZIGEN Animation Studio, studio yang juga memproduksi Black Rock Shooter dan Miss Monochrome, serta menangani 3D CGI pada berbagai anime seperti K, Kill la Kill, dan Dog Days. Seiji Kishi, sang sutradara dari Ars Nova juga merupakan sutradara di balik Angel Beats!, serta versi anime dari Persona 4, Devil Survivor 2, dan Danganronpa.

Happy New Year 2014 and A Bit Look Back on 2013

Time really does fly, and without we even realized, it's already the last day in 2013..this also mark the first birthday of this blog, since I made this blog at the end of December 2012, and start making review ever since  *cheers* ^^~. At first, I made this blog mainly to satisfy my personal desire and passion about anime, and to have a place to sharing thoughts..but I also truly hope that the contents of this blog and what I'm sharing could be useful to those who read it..

Throughout 2013, I'm only able to made about 17 reviews..with a highly inconsistent interval..(>_<). I'm fully aware that this blog and it's contents is really far from perfect, but I want to keep on improving this blog in every aspect as best as I could, in terms of quality, quantity, and variety of the contents, interface, and benefit..so I'll always welcoming and appreciate any support, comment, critics or advice for this blog..:D

I'm really thankful for those advices and comments I have received throughout the year, and for all who has read my review and made this able to reach more than 15.000 views..it might be a small amount of views compared to other blogs, but I'm really glad because of that, and that number has become one of my biggest motivation to keep on writing..:D

Talking about year 2013, if I take a look back on everything that has happened, to be honest, this year has been a tough one for me, especially nearing the end of the year..but I'm also truly grateful to God, because I feel that many things that has happened throughout this year, has "leveled me up" as a person, increased my capacity, broadened my mind, and taught me so many important things..this year has truly reminded me that I'm already an adult now, and being an adult means you have a responsibility not only to your own life, but also to the life of those around you, and to God who has given you life..your choice and decision you make today will not only affect your own future and what kind of life you will live, but will also affect the life of those around you..and in order to bear those kind of responsibility, face uncertainity waiting up ahead, and making the right decision, the ultimate thing we have to do is clinging to God and fight all of our battles on our knee..

Diadaptasi dari light novel buatan Nagomu Torii yang terbit sejak 9 Juni 2012 dan sudah mencapai 3 volume, Kyokai no Kanata (KnK) diangkat menjadi anime oleh studio Kyoto Animation, studio terkenal yang juga telah memproduksi Inuyasha series, K-ON! Series, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya series, dan salah satu yang terbaru adalah Free! pada Summer Season lalu. Animenya disutradarai oleh Taichi Ishidate yang juga terlibat dalam berbagai seri anime seperti Clannad, K-ON!, dan Hyouka. Selain dalam bentuk TV seriesnya, anime KnK juga memiliki ONA (Original Net Animation) yang berjumlah 3 episode dengan durasi masing-masing 8 menit yang berjudul “Kyoukai no Kanata: Idol Saiban! Mayoi Nagara mo Kimi wo Sabaku Tami”.

Anime Review : Attack on Titan (Shingeki no Kyojin)

Dari sejak ngikutin Attack on Titan di Spring Season lalu sampai pada tamatnya pada 28 September kemarin, gw sendiri ga sabar untuk bikin reviewnya, karena menurut gw AoT adalah salah satu anime terbaik yang pernah gw tonton, and I want to share many amazing things I get from the series, I'm just hoping my analysis and writing skill is enough to explain it all clearly without made it too lengthy. (>_<)

Diadaptasi dari manga buatan Hajime Isayama yang disebut-sebut sebagai salah satu anime terbaik tahun 2013 dan sangat highly anticipated untuk Spring Season lalu setelah manganya terjual lebih dari 20 juta copy sampai pertengahan 2013, Attack on Titan terbukti sukses besar dengan hype yang sangat luar biasa sehingga dalam waktu singkat, sudah diadaptasi ke berbagai jenis media. Adaptasi live-action filmnya sudah dikonfirmasi dan ditargetkan untuk rilis pada tahun 2014, dan untuk versi game, 4 adaptasi game berbentuk visual novel yang menceritakan spin-off dari para karakter akan dirilis bersamaan dengan DVD Blu-Ray nya, sedangkan versi game 3DS nya yang berjudul "Attack on Titan - Wings of Counterattack" dijadwalkan rilis pada 5 Desember 2013. Selain itu, ada pula adaptasi berupa light novel yang berjudul "Shingeki no Kyojin : Before The Fall" sebagai prekuel sebelum cerita original di manganya, serta manga spin-off yang berjudul "A Choice With No Regrets" yang menceritakan mengenai masa lalu Levi. Anime nya sendiri diproduksi oleh Wit Studio yang berkolaborasi dengan Production I.G sebagai induk perusahaannya. Sebagai studio yang baru berdiri pada pertengahan 2012, Wit Studio baru terlibat dalam produksi anime movie Hal serta Robotics;Notes. Hataraku Maou-sama! (HataMaou) merupakan anime yang diadaptasi dari light novel buatan Satoshi Wagahara dengan ilustrasi dari 029 (Oniku) yang sampai saat ini sudah mencapai 8 volume sejak Februari 2011. HataMaou juga telah diadaptasi dalam bentuk 2 seri manga, salah satunya mengadaptasi cerita asli sesuai light novelnya, dan yang satu lagi merupakan spin-off berjudul Hataraku Maou-sama! High School!. Animenya sendiri diproduksi oleh studio White Fox yang telah terlibat dalam produksi banyak judul anime series, beberapa diantaranya adalah Jormungand, Katanagatari, dan Steins;Gate. HataMaou disutradarai oleh Naoto Hosoda yang juga sutradara dari Mirai Nikki series dan Shuffle! series.

AFA ID 2013

Setelah sebelumnya gw pikir ga akan bisa datang ke AFA ID 2013, ternyata akhirnya bisa mampir ke sana..really glad I got the chance to come..! :D

AFA ID 2013 kemarin adalah pertama kalinya buat gw datang ke acara anime dengan skala internasional..and as expected, it was AWESOME..:D

Awesome dari segi guest star, merchandise, dan yang pasti jumlah pengunjung nya..jumlah pengunjung nya SUPER SEKALI..(0.o)

Gw milih datang di acara hari kedua, hari Sabtu tanggal 7 September 2013, dan waktu pertama kali tiba di venue di Jakarta Convention Center jam 10.30 an, langsung dibuat terpesona oleh antrian penukaran dan pembelian tiket masuk yang terdiri dari beberapa barisan dan masing-masing panjangnya kayanya bisa sampai puluhan meter (>_<) untungnya karena uda beli voucher dari Bandung gw bisa ga terlalu lama antri karena tinggal nuker vouchernya dengan tiket.
